Aquacell® grey-water plants
Here too the treatment technology is based on the MicroClear® system of course. The modular design corresponds to approved Aquacell® plants. For users, this is a big plus with respect to reliability, hygienic safety and investment security. Aquacell® grey-water plants come completely "ready to use" with tank or, for system suppliers, can also be ordered as a technical-set without tank.
The unique advantage of a MicroClear® grey-water plant is that all suspended matter is held back such that no nutrients remain present in the clarified water. This prevents renewed germination of the water and thus also prevents the generation of odours. The introduction of supplementary disinfecting agents is not necessary; thus this system already meets tomorrow's requirements, today. Deposits of contamination particles in the clear water tank, toilet systems or irrigation lines is a thing of the past due to the complete removal of all particles and bacteria.
Functional description:
Stage 1 – surge compensation tank and biological clarification
The supply flow for grey-water is usually not evenly distributed over the day but occurs within only a few hours. Stage 1 buffers this volume and, at the same time, provides for its biological treatment.
Growth bodies from open-pore foam material provide various micro-organism life-support conditions, depending on the amount of oxygen that penetrates into the foam cubes. This causes a large variety of substances to be degraded biologically, without any chemicals.
Stage 2 - membrane filtration
The separation of micro-organisms is handled by the patented MicroClear® filter. Even viruses and bacteria are blocked from passage by the fine membrane pores. Simultaneous aeration of the filter ensures filter cleansing and oxygen for the biological process. Thus the Aquacell® requires only a minimal amount of energy – after all, water is not the only resource to be conserved nowadays.
Stage 3 - clear-water storage
This storage tank is dimensioned generously to ensure sufficient clear-water is available at all times. And if on occasion there simply isn't enough grey-water available, drinking water will automatically be supplied instead.
