The FA-5 unit up to 5 m³ per day is the solution for small wastewater and grey-water plants. Its filtration pressure is optimally matched to the MicroClear® filter.
Functional description:
Filtrate is drawn out of the filter and into the permeate box by means of negative pressure. When the box is full it is automatically emptied by a drainage pump. This pump has a pressure head of about 4 m so it is also capable of filling permeate into higher positioned tanks.
Thanks to a perfectly matched pump characteristic, the vacuum pump holds filtration pressure at the optimal operating point – absolutely simple.
Advantages:
- self-starting, no venting necessary
- water remains in the pit, frost protection unnecessary since vent lines are routed outdoors
- filter throughput measurement via integrated float switch (in conjunction with Aquacell® controller)
